On July 3rd, 2009, Equinox was asked:

    In various cultures throughout history, there have been decisions as to the Seat of the Mind and Seat of the Heart and Soul are.  Would you please talk about that, in terms for us today?
     

    EQ:  Well we are not sure what thee are asking but what we will say is that traditionally humanity has had a very strong need to believe they are their physical self.  Consequently they believe the Seat of the Mind, their Godliness, the Seat to the Soul is internal when it is not.  If thee are energy, so much more of thee are outside of this shell than is inside, than what is inside the shell.  And as thee have never left the Link with God, then how can God be in here with thee connected to, dost thou understand?  Humanity has always looked for signs, has always looked outside for answers instead of looking, not the right word, allowing the connection to be the answer.  Dost thou understand?

    Guest: Can you go into it a little more?

    EQ:  Have thee ever been doing something, and lost sight of the "You" and become the "Us"?  Felt completely connected in every part of thee and not physical in that feeling?  This is the Seat of Godliness.  This is the Seat of the Soul, it is not in the body, what is in the body is flesh and bone and guts and organs and blood and bacteria, and lots of things thee don't want to think about.  That which is thee is the energy of the Source.  And it is everywhere.

    Guest: Our ego gets in the way all the time, how do we get our ego out of the way so that we can realize the Potential and our Connection.

    EQ:  Acknowledge it, acknowledge that it is the ego that has the desires, It is a basic Buddhist teaching is it not, that desire is of the Ego not of God?  So acknowledging that these things mean something to thee, because thee are Earth-bound instead of God-bound, can help thee get a greater understanding of thy fears.  Once thee have an understanding of thy fears, thee can look at them and really see that either there is nothing thee can do about that or there is and do it.  That can get thee past the need for a result.
